This event, hosted by Lilith Fund, NARAL Pro-Choice Texas, and the Texas Freedom Network, is an opportunity to learn about the new, groundbreaking local agenda for reproductive rights, receive training on talking about abortion access, and get involved in advocacy visits with elected officials in the greater Houston area. You’ll join local activists committed to building a future for Houston where reproductive health care is affordable and accessible, healthy families are supported, and all people can thrive.

Documentary Play “Remarkably Normal” in Austin next Thursday, May 26th!
One in three women will have an abortion in her lifetime.  Remarkably Normal by Jessi Blue Gormezano, Abortion Stories from the 1 in 3 Campaign reveals the stories behind the statistics. This documentary play is exclusively composed of interviews and stories submitted to the 1 in 3 Campaign and focuses on the people who receive and provide abortion care. , this play is soulful, funny, and at times challenging. After the play, Lilith Fund Executive Director Amanda Williams is speaking on a panel alongside Senator Wendy Davis, Amelia Fulbright, founding minister at Labyrinth Progressive Student Ministry, and Fatimah Gifford of Whole Woman’s Health.
