Lilith Fund and TEA Fund are seeking a jointly-managed Statewide Coordinator for our new Client Engagement Program (CEP) who will act as the connector between these two partners and their respective program outputs and will maintain a “bird’s-eye view” of the CEP as a whole. The Coordinator will work closely with fellow CEP staff (two Organizers and two Social Workers) as well as five other Texas abortion funds in order to strengthen the statewide infrastructure needed to support the leadership and needs of communities most impacted by barriers to abortion care.

About our Organizations
Lilith Fund, founded in 2001, funds abortion and advocates for change through the movement for reproductive justice, assisting people in Texas in exercising their fundamental right to abortion by removing barriers to access. Lilith Fund operates a mostly volunteer-run hotline in order to provide direct financial assistance to people in the southern half of Texas seeking abortion care. Last year, we provided grants to more than 1,400 people who otherwise would not have been able to afford a safe abortion. Lilith Fund also engages in local and statewide movement-building, organizing, and policy advocacy work in order to create systemic change. Lilith Fund is a women of color-led organization.
The Texas Equal Access Fund (TEA Fund) is the abortion fund that serves the northern half of Texas. We provide funding to low-income people in the northern region of Texas who are seeking abortion and cannot afford it, while simultaneously working to end barriers to abortion access through community education and shifting the current culture toward reproductive justice. We were founded in 2005, and we fund callers from Waco to the Panhandle seeking abortion in Dallas/Fort Worth, Waco, Shreveport, Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Oklahoma City.
The Coordinator will have some knowledge in: reproductive justice framework, anti-racist organizing principles
The Coordinator should have excellent skills or experience in: program and/or project management, grant reporting, financial oversight, collaborating with a team of people toward a shared goal, supporting people through skills building and leadership development, movement building and/or grassroots organizing
The Coordinator should have demonstrated ability to: analyze and evaluate systems, build meaningful relationships, work collaboratively, develop and manage new programs, be flexible, articulate and reach goals, work through tensions and conflicts, solve problems, utilize organizational tools/technology (ie email, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Slack, Trello, Tresorit, EveryAction, etc), document progress, adapt to rapidly changing situations in politically challenging environment

This full-time salaried position will be located in Texas and the desired start date is March 1, 2018. The position is remote. Significant travel within the state of Texas and minimal travel outside of the state (for conferences/professional development) will be required. Depending on qualifications, the salary ranges between $50,000-$55,000 per year plus benefits. This position does not include any expectation of fundraising. Directly reports to CEP management committee made up of Executive Directors of TEA Fund and Lilith Fund.
